A German Learning App for Vietnamese Speakers

Learn German with Vietnamese explanations in Lingeva. Try original examples, check English/Vietnamese app support and compare Free and Premium.

A German learning app for Vietnamese speakers should make it clear which language explains the lesson and which language you practise. In Lingeva, German is the target language, while the app interface and explanations are available in Vietnamese and English. Choose the language that helps you understand the task, then practise building a German reply yourself.

What does Vietnamese language support include?

Vietnamese interface text and explanations can help you follow a grammar task without first translating an English explanation. Coverage varies by content: some vocabulary labels or explanations may still appear in English. The public website has English, Vietnamese and German pages; changing the website language does not change the app language or add a German app interface.

Check these three things before choosing an app

  • Read a complete explanation, not just the navigation labels. Does it help you understand what to do?
  • Look for German examples you can change and use, rather than relying on one Vietnamese translation for every context.
  • Check whether the features you want are included in Free or need Premium, and whether your device and store support the app.

Three small German choices, explained with Vietnamese examples

These are original written examples for this page. They do not describe every Vietnamese speaker’s difficulties or promise that all these sentences appear in the app.

Three small German choices, explained with Vietnamese examples
Practice focusGerman exampleVietnamese meaning
A noun with its articleder Termin → Ich habe einen Termin.cuộc hẹn → Tôi có một cuộc hẹn.
Starting with a timeMorgen habe ich einen Termin.Ngày mai tôi có một cuộc hẹn.
A polite questionWie heißen Sie?Anh/chị tên là gì?
  • Learn Termin with der, but check its role in a sentence. With habe here, the indefinite article is einen in the accusative: Ich habe einen Termin.
  • In the statement Morgen habe ich einen Termin, the conjugated verb habe stays in second position, after Morgen. Do not keep ich before habe simply because the Vietnamese example begins with the time followed by “tôi”.
  • Sie and du depend on the relationship and setting. The Vietnamese translation above is one contextual rendering; it is not a fixed one-to-one translation for every German or Vietnamese form of address.

Try a change instead of translating the same sentence again

Say that you have an appointment on Friday, starting with Am Freitag. Try it aloud before opening the example.

Show one possible answer

Am Freitag habe ich einen Termin.

Am Freitag is the first part of the sentence; habe follows it, then ich. You have changed the time while keeping the German statement pattern.

A short routine using the public greeting lesson

  1. Read the short scenario and choose the language of the explanation that helps you.
  2. Say the German greeting and question without copying every word.
  3. Open the related pronoun explanation and practise the verb form.
  4. Change the name or form of address and say a new reply. Check the result before moving on.

The public greeting lesson shows a connected scenario, grammar and exercise example without an account. Website choices remain in the browser tab; the sample does not start an AI session, record your voice or save app progress. Use the app for the wider learning catalogue.

What about German pronunciation?

Choose a word or sound you personally find difficult and compare it with reliable German audio. A Vietnamese spelling approximation cannot represent every German sound. The app’s pronunciation practice includes reference playback, recording controls and automated feedback under Premium access and the applicable permissions and limits. AI feedback is an estimate; ask a teacher when a correction remains unclear.

Questions from Vietnamese-speaking learners

Do I need English to use the Vietnamese interface?

You can choose Vietnamese for the app interface and explanations. Some content may still fall back to English, so this page does not promise complete Vietnamese translation of every item. German remains the language of the practice.

Does the app award a Goethe, telc or other official certificate?

No. It offers independent exam-style preparation for supported formats. Practice results and AI writing or speaking estimates are not official certificates and do not guarantee passing.

Will an app remove my accent or guarantee fluent German?

No such outcome is promised. Use the practice to work on specific phrases and sounds and to review feedback. Your broader learning plan can also include qualified teaching and conversations with people.
